B.S. in Biology, Peking University, Beijing, China, 1996 M.S. in Plant Developmental and Molecular Biology, Peking University, Beijing, China, 1999 M.S. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, 2002 Zhang joined the UNH Center for Structural Biology as a bioinformatics research scientist in June of 2002.

Research Interests

1. Computational tool and algorithm development to support carbohydrate sequencing by using sequential mass spectrometry data
2. Automated spectrum interpretation and high volume data management solutions for high throughput glycoproteomics research
3. Complex biological database modeling and statistical data mining
